RoundWorks IT has been around for 7 months now (happy birthday to us!) and the time has flown by so quickly. As with all young businesses, we started out small, but our customer base has been growing steadily. And things are really starting to get crazy busy now…which is just how we like it!
We firmly believe that the secret of our success (other than hard work) is our sheer determination to be different. The last thing we want you to think is that we’re ‘just another IT company’. Our aim is to stand out from the crowd – and here are 4 very good reasons why we’re doing just that.
- We won’t break the bank (or rip you off)
As a start-up business ourselves, we fully understand the financial headaches faced by new and fast-growing companies. That’s why we price our services fairly and realistically, and we’re open and honest about our fees. What’s more, we’re always looking for ways to save our customers money – and we’re pretty good at it, too!
On top of all that, we really believe in going the extra mile and giving our customers added value. So we love throwing the odd freebie into the mix, like offering customers using Windows Server Backup a free upgrade to a much better service called Veeam for Windows.
We also offer free IT audits to new customers and, once you’re onboard with our monthly managed IT support service, you’ll get two further audits a year free of charge. Now that’s what we call a bargain – especially if you end up saving £1,300 like one of our customers!
- We walk the talk (no bull!)
As anyone who knows us will tell you, we’re straight down the line when it comes to telling you what’s what. So if there’s a problem, you won’t find us skirting round the issue or telling porky pies…even if we’ve made a mistake. (It doesn’t happen often, but we’re only human, after all.)
Just like our approach to pricing, the way we communicate with our customers is based on truth, honesty and respect. If your IT systems need a little TLC, we’ll tell you so and we’ll tell you why. And if we’re working on a big IT project like a network installation, you’ll be fully involved in the planning process and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
- We don’t do ‘one size fits all’…
On the contrary, our ethos is ‘one size doesn’t fit all.’ Unlike some of our competitors offering fixed, inflexible packages, we recognise that every business has its own unique IT support needs. There’ll be some services that company A can’t live without, but company B won’t need in a million years, and vice versa.
That’s why our service starts with, and will always revolve around, you and your business. Think of us like the Pick & Mix counter at Woolworths (RIP!) – simply take the bits you want and leave the rest alone. After all, why would we want to sell you something you don’t need or won’t use? That’s not what we’re about at all.
- …But we DO do what it says on the tin
One thing that makes us hopping mad is IT support companies that simply don’t deliver what they promise. Take remote monitoring, which forms part of our Managed IT Support service. We’ve heard some real horror stories from customers about remote monitoring services from other IT firms which are so remote they don’t exist…literally!
To cut to the chase, if we say we do something, we’ll do it. And coming back to walking the talk, we’re happy to prove we’re actually doing the work you pay us for. So if you want to see your remote monitoring reports every month (you probably don’t, there’s a LOT of info!), then we’ll send them to you.
